Insurance Information
Understanding insurance information for your proposed building work.
At 4 Dimension Construction, we understand the importance of having appropriate insurance arrangements in place when carrying out building work in your home.
Whether you’re planning an extension, loft conversion, renovation or another construction project, it’s important to understand the insurance arrangements relevant to the work being undertaken.
Our insurance arrangements
The insurance requirements for a construction project depend on the nature and scope of the work.
Details of insurance cover relevant to your project can be discussed before work begins.
Subcontractors and specialist work
Some construction projects involve specialist trades or subcontractors.
Where applicable, insurance arrangements and responsibilities for specialist work should be considered as part of the project’s planning and contractual arrangements.
Requesting insurance information
If you would like information about the insurance arrangements relevant to your proposed project, please contact us at info@4dmc.co.uk.
Please include a brief description of the work you are planning so that we can identify the relevant information.
Insurance and our workmanship guarantee
Insurance cover and workmanship guarantees serve different purposes.
4 Dimension Construction provides a 12-month workmanship guarantee for qualifying defects in the construction and installation work we carry out.
This guarantee is separate from any applicable insurance cover and from manufacturer or supplier warranties.
